Responsibilities
- Solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts: Data structures, Algorithms, Concurrency.
- Very good design experience with UML & Design Patterns.
- Working knowledge in Big data technologies.
- Strong communication skills, both writing and verbal.
- For web developers, Excellent understanding of J2EE Patterns and Frameworks.
- Strong experience in Java/ J2EE development, Struts/JSP 2.0/Servlet 2.4 and Hibernate.
- Thorough understanding of the HTTP protocol.
- Working knowledge of AJAX libraries, modern JavaScript Frameworks such as Ext JS, DOJO, Ajax Anywhere, CSS and DHTML.
- Experience in APACHE, JBOSS, Tomcat and the respective configurations.
- Experience in test driven development.
Qualification and Skills Required
- BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc/MTech/ 6 + Years of experience
- Experience in one or more of Hadoop, HBase, Pig, Hive, Oozie, Mahout, Distributed Computing a big plus.
- Profiling and Performance Tuning experience.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development process.
- Exposure to Telecom Domain.
- Active contribution to Open Source projects.
