Qualification and Skills Required
- Engineering degree in Computer Science or related field of study
- Overall 9 Years – 14 Years experience with at least 2+ year on Big Data implementation projects
- Proficiency with Big Data technologies (such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Oozie) and platforms (e.g. Cloudera, IBM BigInsights, Hortonworks)
- Experience pulling data from web sites (web crawling), social media, weblogs
- Proficiency with MapReduce programming
- Expertise in data manipulation using programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Java)
- Expertise in data integration tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS
- Knowledge of Hadoop administration
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., HBase, Cassandra, Mongo DB, CouchBase)
- SQL and relational database programming
- Adept at learning and applying new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client facing experience
- Strong team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in business intelligence tools such as SAP BO, Cognos
- Advanced SQL
- Data modeling
- Agile development methodology

- Should have project experience as Big Data Architect.
