Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive and ad-hoc analyses of customer behavior to address key business questions in areas such as growth drivers, marketing, CRM, pricing, network optimization, compliance
- Help drive data analysis based insights in decision-making process
- Ability to effectively collaborate with other team members located in different geographies
- Ability to effectively present analyses over calls to a wide international audience – analytics team, marketers, country/regional managers
- Query large scale databases as well as manipulating and analyzing large data sets to drive actionable conclusions/insights
Qualification and Skills Required
- At least 4 – 6 years of experience in business analytics, customer and marketing analysis and data mining (preferably in financial services)
- Top-tier academic background – MS or MA in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods or MBA with a proven track record in using advanced quantitative and statistical technique to drive business solutions
- High degree of proficiency in using a broad spectrum of consumer information databases as well as SAS and SQL
- High degree of attention to detail
- High proficiency in Excel and Power point
- Must be extremely self-motivated, ambitious, pro-active and results oriented.
- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and unstructured business environment.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to appeal to a wide international audience
- Knowledge of CHAID, CART or other data mining packages
- Knowledge of multivariate statistical analysis including regression, regression tree, logistic regression, cluster analysis and ANOVA
