Responsibilities
- Ability to perform ETL operations and database mining
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of transactional data gathered from various sources
- Knowledge about transactional database systems like ERP packages, Accounting systems
- Good eye for details and analytical skills where practitioner has to mine and analyze huge data sets
- Proficient in MS SQL Server (or any other RDBMS); Perform tasks like querying and programming in the database using T-SQL (or PL-SQL) and able to load, verify various formats of data into SQL database or Experienced in Base SAS and SAS macros
- Demonstrate ability to work on various proprietary tools with guidance of seniors and turn around into a reliable resource to handle the tools independently
- Create, manage, and utilize high performance relational databases (SQL Server, Microsoft Access, OLAP and other proprietary software) in order to handle voluminous data sets
- Design data entry screens, perform data quality control, develop database reports and user interfaces, and normalize unstructured data
- Follows standard methodologies and procedures towards delivering the assigned activity or task – under supervision and guidance
- Need to develop into a reliable resource capable of handling multiple small projects or tasks in a large engagement independently
- Has working knowledge of financial domains like AML, financial advisory, fraud detection. Knowledge of at least one functional area will be an added advantage

- Technical Skills :
- Databases: SQL Server Database
- Statistical Tools: proficiency in SAS, R, SPSS, Excel
- Proficient in MS SQL Server (or any other RDBMS); Perform tasks like querying and programming in the database using T-SQL (or PL-SQL) and able to load, verify various formats of data into SQL database or Experienced in Base SAS and SAS macros
- Oracle ‑ PL/SQL
- Experience: 2 – 4 years
- Educational Qualification: MCA/MSc/Master in Statistics/Data Analysis – Preferred
