Job description:
Responsibilities
- Competency development on Big data and related tools & technology
- Frameworks, Solution & Service definition around Big data
- Pre-sales- custom solutioning using the Big data tools & technology
- Participate & lead customer presentations
- Solution Consulting around Big data
- Work with Sales teams in developing GTM content
- Work with delivery teams for staffing & fulfillment needs
- Liaison with Vendors & Industry leaders in acquiring best practices & competencies
Qualification and Skills Required
- 15 + Years in IT with at least 1-2 years in Big data
- Experience knowledge with one or multiple tools like; Apache/ Cloudera/ Horton Works/Intel editions of Hadoop and its associated eco systems (tools; Hbase, Hive, Pig, Mahout, ZooKeeper etc.).
- Experience and knowledge in search tools Solr and integration frameworks like Mule will be advantage
- Experience in data management techniques like; Harmonization, integration, cleansing & standardization will be added advantage.
- Experience in defining business & technology solutions & frameworks with big data tools & technology
- Hands on experience in sizing Hadoop clusters, installation configurations and adopting best practices
- Knowledge on Java , J2EE, JSON, Pig, Python will be added advantage
- Knowledge of implementing business solutions like pricing, demand signal repository, assortment planning, e-comm, recommendation engine etc. will be added advantage
- Knowledge of advance analytics & statistics model will be added advantage
