Responsibilities
- Implementation of state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies and tools for research projects and platform development
- Data analysis, quantitative analysis using large and complex data sets and problem solving
- Design and implementation of data mining algorithms
Qualification and Skills Required
- Qualification : Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Agile software engineering techniques (SCRUM)
- Strong understanding of quantitative analysis and technology and experience querying large, complex data sets
- Working experience (3+ years) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills involving data mining algorithms including predictive modeling, multivariate modeling, Bayesian analysis, Decision Trees, Boosting, Random Forests, probability networks, clustering, regression, etc.
- Excellent knowledge in design and implementation of data mining algorithms in R and Java
- Knowledge in database technologies (RDBMS) and Data warehouse concepts (OLAP, ETL Tools, BI Tools)
- Good verbal and written communication skill
