Responsibilities
- Framing the research problem with other stakeholders
- Leading the modeling exercise
- Conceptualizing and overseeing the verification mechanisms
- Ensure that quality and time benchmarks are adhered to by self/team
- Analyze trends and look for data outliers in the historical data sets across multiple technologies and across all geographies
- Bring forward potential data outliers to Tracker analysts for review, and follow up to assure concerns are addressed appropriately
- Suggest and implement plans to more systematically look for outliers in the data sets through the automation of visualizations and other tools
- Work closely with IDCs tracker tools development team to develop or enhance IDCs data quality tools
- Develop and manage a system to formally track and categorize data quality issues and related customer feedback
- Connect analysts and encourage discussion about overall data quality processes and analysis
Qualification and Skills Required
- Expert use of Microsoft Excel and Access (Excel Visual Basic macro usage required) or SAS
- Experience in management of large data sets and analyzing data (familiarity of data visualization techniques is a plus)
- Understanding of statistical techniques that can be applied to look for data outliers
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Strong attention to detail
