This is an Individual Contributor role would be working on an ETL project. This individual will be required to work as a Data Analyst using Infosphere Warehouse (Datastage) tool. The individual will be required to write extraction queries to extract data from different databases like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, etc. The person would also be required to work extensively for manipulating data to the required need and validate the same against the expected results

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis
• Data Extraction from Databases / Flat Files
• Development of Datastage packages
• Data Validation and Testing
• Data Cleansing and Consolidation
• Data Loading into databases or datamarts
• Creation of database schemas
• Writing scheduling scripts on servers
• Customer Interaction
• Performing data processing and validation
• Develop code based on technical specifications to extract, process and validate targeted account data
• Validate and test all code and process activities for accuracy and efficiency
• Maintains programs through implementation by debugging, fixing and participating in maintenance releases and as well as wellness checks

Qualification and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years experience in Expertise in Infosphere Datastage tool, Datastage
• English: Fluent
• Core Expertise in Infosphere Datastage tool
• Experience with Quality stage, Information Analyzer (Profile stage), Metadata Workbench and Business Glossary will be highly preferred
• Experience on writing Shell scripts
• Knowledge of SQL Programming will be an added advantage
• Experience in banking domain is good to have
